My name is Mary, and I am from Nairobi, Kenya. My family and I moved to Hudson, Wisconsin in 2009.
I'm currently starting my MEI training.
My love for flying started with an intro flight with Douglas Weiler, retired Northwest/Delta Air Lines pilot. Ever since that day, I kept waiting for the next opportunity to be somewhere in the sky. I got more involved and went to the National Flight Academy, and I haven't looked back since.
I enjoy training in Mankato because I can relate to my instructor, and they meet me where I am. My advisor here is often free to talk, and they also reach out with scholarship and internship resources. People want to help; you just have to ask.
After graduation, I plan to instruct and work for a commercial operator. I also plan to be involved in humanitarian missions, doing supply/food drops to isolated countries; my heart is set on helping people find peace and divine destiny.
