Hey guys! My name is Tyler Skogstad, and I am from Wausau, Wisconsin.
I’m a freshman this year at Minnesota State University, Mankato and currently preparing for my stage one checkride, so it's a very exciting time for me! I got into aviation out of pure personal interest in the industry and general aviation as a whole. I was further introduced to it by family and friends who are pilots and by participating in a pilot for a day program at my local airport.
One of the things that I really enjoy about flight training at Minnesota State Mankato is that they get you flying right away during your first week of classes and how friendly and helpful the staff are at the airport!
Currently my goals after graduation are to fly commercially for the airlines at either Delta or American Airlines through their cadet programs!
